A few facts about our benefit:
- It's one of the most important ways we raise funds to provide housing and support for the 70+ participants we serve every day
- Attended by 300 people, our benefit generates about 20 percent of our non-governmental revenue
- It's cost effective, with more than two thirds of the funds generated going directly to ongoing operations
- It offers a terrific marketing opportunity. You will be listed as a donor in our benefit program, and will be highlighted in our spring newsletter, which reaches more than 4,000 people
As you probably already know, Housing Options is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1988 that has provided affordable, supportive housing and services to more than 150 adults recovering from chronic mental illnesses. All of our participants work with our team of social workers, counselors, case managers, psychiatrists, and a nurse. Besides mental health services, participants receive physical health care, life skills training, money management, and job skills training. The majority of our participants live in agency owned apartments, which are all fully furnished.
