2009 Benefit
Our benefit is fast approaching. Can you see it? Twenty years of providing safe and comfortable homes and support services for adults with mental illnesses, giving hope to our more than 150 participants and countless family members and friends.
This much anticipated event will take place on February 14, 2009 at the Woman's Club of Evanston,
Want to get involved? There are many ways that you can participate:
1. Come to the benefit. Nothing could be easier. Shop our silent auction table, buy some raffle tickets, see a great show and mingle with beautiful people, all while supporting a great cause. To receive and invitation to the benefit contact Karen Palmer at kpalmer@housingopt.org
2. Donate a silent auction item. Do you or someone you know own a boutique? A restaurant? A travel agency? A sports team? There are a million exciting silent auction items out there, and we want them on our tables. Please help! Click here for more information or contact Karen Palmer at kpalmer@housingopt.org.
3. Be a corporate sponsor. Do you work for a company? Does that company need exposure and want to support a great cause? If so, this is definitely an option you should consider. Our corporate sponsors all receive mention at the event, in our programs, in our newsletter, and our annual report. The perks just get better from there dependent upon your sponsorship level. Click here for more information or contact Melba Graffius Swoyer at mswoyer@housingopt.org.
4. Join the benefit committee. Do you want to have the inside scoop? Join our committee members as they work to make the benefit a night to remember. The benefit committee is a short-term commitment with a huge end-payoff! Volunteers meet once a month from September through March making sure all the details are in line for a great event. Please contact Karen Palmer at kpalmer@housingopt.org for more information on volunteering.
Proceeds from the benefit will help Housing Options to fulfill its mission to develop housing opportunities for adults recovering from severe and persistent mental illnesses, to provide social work, mental health, and nursing services so that each person can live as independently as possible, and to foster understanding of mental illnesses and the need for supportive housing.
