SHIP

The agency’s SHIP program, where residents live in scattered-site apartments leased by the agency, was historically a transitional living program. In 2006, this program, like all of our other Residential Programs, became a permanent housing program. All SHIP residents are still encouraged to become as independent as possible, up to and including leaving the program to live on their own in the community, if they so choose. People who leave SHIP or any other Residential Program may apply to the Non-Residential Program.
